Making it Through the Dinner Hour (First Tip of the Day)

Saren and I have been brainstorming a "Tip of the Day" idea for several months now.  We have great new daily articles on The Power of Moms, but many of our readers have asked us to "spoon-feed" them with quick and simple tips.

Every mom out there has tips to share, and we're going to start collecting them on our site.  Here's our first one, scheduled to launch as soon as we can get this section together.

My girls were so cute to help me with this, and Ethan took Spencer in the backyard to play when he got a little noisy.

Do you have any ideas for a Tip of the Day?

  1. April, I have been blogstalking you! You have a wonderful blog. Your mission to empower mothers is noble. You share great ideas in your video. Your tips to turn 'crabby time' into a joyful 'dinner time' are very insightful. I will be following you.

  2. April, what a great idea. I can think of a million tips and I love that your tip of the day helps moms to just focus on getting better at just one thing each day. Who doesn't have a list of self improvements?! This will really be fantastic.

  11. Helen, thanks for your kind comment. Tonight was not one of those "great mom" nights, but we're all trying, right? I would love to share some more morning routine ideas, but in the meantime, Saren and her family have a podcast with some of their ideas here: http://powerofmoms.com/deliberate-mothering/. Have a wonderful day!
